Our food line consists of a main dish, and side options such as mashed potatoes, baked beans, fries, steamed vegetables, fresh and canned fruits, sherbet, and krispie bars. When students move along to the fresh salad bar, they are able to select from even more fruits and fresh vegetables. And.....fruits and vegetables are unlimited, so students are able to return for more!
There are governmental guidelines dictating the amounts of certain nutritional elements (or "components") that students can be offered. Among these elements are sodium levels, fat content in foods, sugar levels, amount of proteins, etc. However, having the ability to "load up" on fruits and vegetables should keep your student satiated for the afternoon.
