February is Dental Health month and the preK students in Mrs. Lano's and Mrs. Deusterman's classes enjoyed a visit from Dr. Erica Nelson and her staff to teach us about Dental Health this week. The students were able to see some of Dr. Nelson's dental tools up close and practice being dentists using playdoh. Thank you so much for taking time to visit us Dr. Nelson!
Miss MN, Rachel Evangelisto, visited FHS--sharing her experiences as the first Indigenous Miss MN and pride for her Lakota heritage. Her talent was a Praying Mantis Kung Fu self-defense routine, which she demonstrated with help from student volunteers.

The final lesson was put in the Kindness Boxes this morning and the Student Leaders purchased heart lollipops to surprise all the students to close out the week!
